Biography

Dr. Vicki Diaz is an Associate Professor and the Associate Program Director in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing with specialization in Adult Health. She is licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Michigan and Florida, and has worked as a neurosurgical nurse practitioner. She also completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Curriculum and Instruction with specialization in Educational Media and Instructional Design from the University of Florida. Dr. Diaz has worked in academic neurosurgery and graduate medical education for several years, primarily with the neurosurgery residency training program at Wayne State University.
